Hi there! I’m Jillian — Founder and CEO of The Picnic Fairy & Co.
The Picnic Fairy & Co. began in 2020 during one of the most uncertain times in the world. As a mom of three and a special needs mom, I was looking for a way to support my family while pursuing something I was passionate about. With the demands of caregiving, traditional work wasn’t an option, so I combined my love for design, décor, and the outdoors to create luxury pop-up picnics — intimate, magical experiences that help families, friends, and couples connect and create lasting memories.
What started as a small family project in Central Florida has grown into a multi-location luxury experience company specializing in luxury picnics, romantic proposals, weddings, baby showers, gender reveals, and beautifully styled events of all kinds.
🌸 Our Journey
This year, we proudly celebrate five incredible years in business. During this time, The Picnic Fairy & Co. has expanded across Central Florida, South Florida, Northern Florida, Puerto Rico, New Jersey, New York and the Raleigh–Durham area of North Carolina. We’ve created 1,000+ unforgettable experiences — from intimate proposals and beachfront wedding ceremonies to luxury hotel pop-ups and milestone celebrations.
Along the way, we’ve also launched two sister companies:

The Picnic Fairy & Co. is proudly run by myself and an incredible team across all locations:
- South Florida – Led by my sister Jessenia C., she is responsible for overseeing Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
- Puerto Rico – Led by Astrid A., our Puerto Rico team brings a touch of island elegance and tropical charm to every experience. From pristine beachfront proposals and intimate hotel pop-ups to stylish picnics and curated events, they create memorable moments designed to celebrate love, life, and connection. Every detail is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the natural beauty of Puerto Rico and the unique vision of our clients.
- Northern Florida – Managed by my talented daughter Gianna D., continuing our family’s creative legacy.
- New Jersey – Run by my brother Luis C. and cousin Felicia A., overseeing luxury proposals, picnics, and event décor.
- Raleigh–Durham, North Carolina – Led by Zahirah Dixon, creating elegant, memorable events for our Carolina clients.
